PEARLS — active, rewarding lives

PEARLS (Program to Encourage Active, Rewarding Lives) is a free program of its own, run by our Healthy Aging Response Team — for older adults 60+ and adults 18–59 living with a disability, anywhere in San Mateo County.

Why join

  • Decrease loneliness and encourage motivation
  • Promote socialization and build community
  • Learn new skills that improve quality of life

What sessions look like

  • Individual sessions up to 1 hour with certified, trained coaches — in person, by phone, at a community site, or online
  • Group sessions at community sites, including San Pedro Commons and Midway Village (residents only; new participants first complete a HART intake)

Download the PEARLS flyer (PDF) — available in English, Español, Tagalog & 中文. Group dates are on the events calendar.

Drop in, or we’ll come to you

Mon–Fri 9 am – 4 pm at 350 90th Street, 1st Floor — or call and ask about an in-home visit.
