Donate to Family Resource Day| For many parents, the end of one school year means the start of preparing for the next. Back-to-school season can be an exciting time for students and families, but it can also bring financial challenges for some. I’ve always believed in our community and how we always come together and support a cause. I’ll share why we are lifting Family Resource Day and ways you can be involved. 3 Important Facts: ~Many families struggle to afford back-to-school expenses, with some families spending up to 10% of their income on school supplies alone. ~The pandemic has worsened the financial hardship for many families. ~Inadequate access to school supplies and resources can hurt a child’s academic performance and self-esteem. 3 Steps We Can Take:Donate: 1. Every dollar counts, and 100% of your donation will go towards clothing, shoes, school supplies, and ensuring that families get the support they need for the upcoming school year. 2. Volunteer: We’re looking for artists who would love to showcase their interactive art during Family Resource Day! We’re looking for volunteers to help us organize and distribute the supplies to students. 3. Spread the Word: Share our efforts with your friends and families on social media and encourage them to donate. |
