Last Friday was an unforgettable day for Daly City Partnership! We received a generous invitation from @warriors to visit Chase Center. The invitation not only included seats for Friday’s game against the Pistons but also a stadium tour filled with behind-the-scenes insights about the new Warriors’ home in San Francisco.

The Warriors’ kindness thrilled our volunteers; this thoughtful gesture will undoubtedly stay with them for a long time.

Thank you to the Golden State Warriors for this remarkable experience and for continually supporting our Bay Area communities. Your unwavering commitment means the world to us as we strive to make a positive impact together! Go Dubs!

For many parents, the end of one school year means the start of preparing for the next. Back-to-school season can be an exciting time for students and families, but it can also bring financial challenges for some. I’ve always believed in our community and how we always come together and support a cause. I’ll share why we are lifting Family Resource Day and ways you can be involved.

3 Important Facts:

~Many families struggle to afford back-to-school expenses, with some families spending up to 10% of their income on school supplies alone.

~The pandemic has worsened the financial hardship for many families.

~Inadequate access to school supplies and resources can hurt a child’s academic performance and self-esteem.

3 Steps We Can Take:Donate:

1. Every dollar counts, and 100% of your donation will go towards clothing, shoes, school supplies, and ensuring that families get the support they need for the upcoming school year.

2. Volunteer: We’re looking for artists who would love to showcase their interactive art during Family Resource Day! We’re looking for volunteers to help us organize and distribute the supplies to students.

3. Spread the Word: Share our efforts with your friends and families on social media and encourage them to donate.

Big shoutout to the Warriors for their incredible initiative – Swishes for Dishes! During the 2022-23 season, every time the Warriors score a point, 100 meals will be donated to local food banks to support Bay Area families in need. That’s right, every time the team puts up 100 points, whether they win or lose, Kaiser Permanente, The Athletes’ Corner, and the Warriors will donate 10,000 meals to prevent hunger! This amazing effort is a testament to the Warriors’ commitment to being great corporate citizens and making a real difference in their community.

Making a difference in the community starts with giving back. Let’s lend a hand and uplift those around us together.

Family Resource Day Fundraising

We are excited to announce that we are campaigning to raise funds for Family Resource Day. This event will be filled with art, music, games, and a free farmer’s market to connect students in our community to food, new clothing, shoes, backpacks with school supplies, and much more.

Our goal is to help the littlest members of our community have the tools they need to excel in both academic and extracurricular life. Education is the key to unlocking a brighter future but learning without the right tools is challenging. Join us in raising funds to provide school supplies for kids in need.
